Until now, the prevailing view has been that aging was characterized by infermity, and weakness. Today, that is an OLD PARADIGM.
But what if . . . advancing age was re engineered to include climbing Kilamanjaro at 99, skiing on your 105th birthday, and happily working out with a limber and toned body along the way.
Now . . . we're talking about building your own Blue Zone, where you can include Tai Chi on the beach with my 88 year old instructor Vince, together we are reaching for ...
120 and Beyond,
the NEW PARADIGM.
I'm a little over half way there . . . Join me for a fascinating journey with ideas to discuss about keeping your body at its optimal level for a long a vigorous life!

Taking care of our brain is up toward the top of the list of what is most important. For example: The brain weighs only 3 pounds but consumes 20% of the oxygen we breathe! Keeping brain oxygen at an optimal level is essential, and that can be done by walking, and working on a cardio vascular exercise program. I try to spin at the gym 3 or 4 times a week, but it took me years to get here.
In the mean time, If you don't have a gym membership, buy one, it is a small investment with great possibilities for your continued health. If you aren't up for a gym membership, take a walk, a one hour walk at least 3 times a week for now.
We have many choices for fitness trackers from FitBit to Apple Watch. Work for 10,000 steps a day, as many days a week as you can. You can do it without a tracker, just do it.
We'll cover more in the days to come...
OPTIMIZING COGNITIVE CAPITAL
Forgetting where we left our keys, phone, or glasses happens almost every day. The good news is ... the memory impairment often thought to accompany natural aging can be minimiized if not reversed.
